An Israeli military operation overnight has surrounded a number of residents in the Lebanese town of Haris, prompting pleas for evacuation assistance to the Lebanese army.
Meanwhile, Israeli drone strikes targeted the town of Mansouri and the Naqoura road, past the "Tiros" restaurant, injuring a Syrian worker, according to reports.
The Lebanese army has set up permanent checkpoints in the town of Fron in the Bint Jbeil district.
