Shadi Moulay took to his Facebook page to address the rumors spread by the Spot Shot platform, stating:
From time to time, campaigns of rumors and fabricated news surface, which some believe are merely pursuits of interaction or media prominence. However, the reality shows that certain platforms adopt clear political agendas and engage with news selectively to serve their biases rather than the truth.
We usually ignore these campaigns as they quickly fall apart when faced with facts. Yet, the latest post by Spot Shot is no more than another instance of this approach, containing entirely false information with no connection to reality.
The truth does not change through rumors nor is it created by fabricated news. Facts will always be stronger than any attempts to deceive or distort.
May God protect Lebanon and its people from all forms of discord, keeping it a nation of peace and stability. May he unite the hearts of its citizens for good and ensure this country remains safe and serene.
