On Friday evening, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announced it had launched a new attack targeting the Azraq base hosting U.S. forces in Jordan, alongside American sites in Erbil, Iraq, as part of what it termed the twenty-seventh wave of Operation "Victory 2".
The Revolutionary Guard's statement claimed significant damage to several fighter jets at the Azraq base and targeted U.S. soldier accommodations, alleging casualties among them.
The statement added that another operation in Erbil destroyed a U.S.-owned Patriot air defense system and surveillance balloon, also targeting a facility housing American soldiers.
The Guard accused the U.S. administration of concealing the actual number of casualties and urged media and research centers to conduct field investigations to verify the attack outcomes, according to the statement.
The Revolutionary Guard asserted that its military operations would continue as long as U.S. operations persist, warning that any new escalation would be met with what it described as "harsh" responses. It emphasized that Iran will, in its words, continue to defend its interests and confront what it calls American aggressions.
