A white truck plowed into the crowd before crashing into a tree, after which the driver fled the scene. The latest tally reveals one woman was killed and 17 others were injured in the attack.
Investigators indicated that this may have been an act of terrorism with Islamic motivations. The suspect, Abdel Albalout, is reportedly an ISIS supporter with extensive known connections to extremist circles and radical ideologies as per the state security agencies.
