Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has expressed his hope that Israel is moving towards a military escalation in Lebanon. He has called for "not just thwarting threats but granting Israeli forces broader freedom of action," urging the need to "crush Hezbollah and target Beirut."
Ben-Gvir also urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to "move towards a complete occupation of the Gaza Strip and encourage migration from it, while continuing military operations aimed at destroying the Hamas movement."
