The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that six Thai workers were injured in a bomb explosion in an orchard near the Metula settlement. Two of them are in critical condition. The incident was described as 'unusual on the northern border with Lebanon.'
In a related development, an Israel Army Radio correspondent reported that an IDF spokesperson said: “A short time ago, an interceptor missile was launched at a false target in the Zar'it settlement. According to the standard policy, no alarms were activated.”
The spokesperson added: “There is no cause for concern regarding a security incident, and the matter is under investigation.”
