Makhzoumi Welcomes New Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon: Strengthening Ties a Priority

Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Lebanon, met today with Dr. Fouad Makhzoumi, Lebanese National Dialogue Party head, to discuss several issues related to Lebanese affairs.

Al-Dosari noted that during the meeting, he listened to Makhzoumi’s perspective on various matters concerning Lebanon.

The meeting was attended by political advisor Dr. Carol Zwein.

Makhzoumi welcomed Ambassador Al-Dosari, highlighting his diplomatic expertise, vision, and presence, stating that it reflects a positive representation of the kingdom's status and role in the region.

In a post on his “X” platform account, Makhzoumi stated he sensed the ambassador’s significant commitment to Lebanon and his belief in strengthening the historical and fraternal relations between the two countries to open broader cooperation prospects.

He noted that Ambassador Al-Dosari emphasized the kingdom’s faith in Lebanon and its institutions, highlighting the importance of supporting these institutions and enhancing their role, expressing confidence that his presence in Beirut will be a qualitative addition and a new opportunity to deepen these relations.

Makhzoumi affirmed that “the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been and will remain a support for Lebanon and the Lebanese,” praising the kingdom's leadership under King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and what he described as the “exceptional renaissance and ambitious vision” of the kingdom.

He concluded by welcoming the new Saudi ambassador to Lebanon and wishing him success in his mission.
