Lebanon's Sovereignty Hinges on Army, Resistance, and National Unity, Says Mufti Qablan

Sheikh Ahmed Qablan, the prominent Jaafari Mufti, has asserted that "no power is legitimate if it contradicts Lebanon's sovereign doctrine or its consensual formula. No power is legitimate if it opposes the popular sovereign function that restored Lebanon. Without the February 6 uprising, Lebanon would not have persisted, and without the resistance, it would have become a Zionist colony. The resistance symbolizes Lebanon's golden national historic record and is the true bearer of the country's second independence. Its history and accomplishments should be taught in Lebanese schools and universities as a betrayal of its legacy and the pure blood that enriches the soil of our nation Lebanon is a betrayal of history."

During his speech at the 'Support of the Culture of Resistance' event in Baalbek, Qablan stated, "God's word is truth, as is the message of His prophets and saints. The magnitude of truth's role and sacrifices against falsehood remains God's primary condition for the followers of prophets and saints. Today, Iran and the resistance, along with its allies, embody the purveyors of God’s truth, while America and Israel remain the foremost symbols of falsehood and tyranny. The moment is historic and defining, as the logic of the prophets and saints calls for the rightful to be prominent in arenas, fields, and sociopolitical quests, mirroring 'And say: Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Surely, falsehood is bound to vanish.'"

He noted that "the Arab-Islamic region currently witnesses the largest regional and international segregation, with the Prophet Mohammad’s voice echoing: 'I will hand over the flag to a man whom God and His Messenger love, and in turn, he loves them, a returner, not a fleer, with whom God will achieve victory.' It was Imam Ali who carried it and conquered Khaybar, and today, those who love Ali, friends of justice, have taken up this mantle. The resistance axis, Imam Khomeini, Imam Moussa Sadr, Leader Khamenei, and others have embraced it. The war isn't over, but the most challenging strategic phase concluded with a historic defeat for America and a decisive victory for Islamic Iran, the Iran of the martyred leader, Imam Ali Khamenei."

Qablan highlighted that "the world stands at a critical transitional stage, as American hegemony in the Middle East is being buried under the Strait of Hormuz and the rubble of American bases, while Tel Aviv experiences its worst historical moment. An ultimate American defeat will mean a perpetual defeat for terrorist Israel."

He declared, "Our position today stands firm with God, His prophets, and saints against America and Israel. No guarantee is greater than the resistance axis, and Islamic and Arab nations should pursue a significant historical resolution that honors the functional belonging to the Prophet Mohammad: 'The believers are but brothers.' They must unite with Tehran and its historic victory to aid in eliminating unjust Zionist-American dominance, a malign reign in regional and global history."

He added that "the current executive authority is strongly urged to prioritize Lebanese interests, sovereignty, the interests of its people, its covenantal partnership, and national doctrine. Lebanon lacks sovereignty or foundational interests without its army, resistance, and Islamic-Christian national unity. Lebanon is a consensual foundational formula and moral doctrine opposed to terrorist Israel, and certainly, no authority is legitimate if it contradicts Lebanon's sovereign doctrine or its consensual formula. No power is legitimate if it opposes the popular sovereign function that restored Lebanon, and without the February 6 uprising, Lebanon would not have persisted, and without the resistance, Lebanon would've been a mere Zionist colony. The resistance is Lebanon’s golden national historic record and the true parent of the country's second independence and should be taught in history books. Ignoring its history and achievements is treason against history and the pure blood enriched in our land, Lebanon."

He emphasized that "this nation can only be a national partnership between Islam and Christianity, a country of true and sound citizenship, a culture of mosque and church, a culture of truth, justice, and fairness, a single people's culture with one national choice, unified resistance, army, and moral doctrine. The dowry of Jabal Amel extends beyond its historic meeting with Jabal Keserwan, and the Beqaa is incomplete without Tripoli and the North, as no backbone is stronger than the spine of Tareeq Al-Jadida for Dahiyeh, and the South and Mount of Druze are gifts from Sayyed Abdul Hussein Sharaf Al-Din, Imam Sayyed Moussa Sadr, and Sultan Basha Al-Atrash. History commences upon unity and conquering occupation."

Concluding, he stated, "There is no fear for Lebanon or from Lebanon with the sacrifices of the resistance and the Lebanese army partnership, and true national legitimacy stems from sovereign defense, not a disgraceful Zionist agreement. Our sovereignty's keys and the motivation for our existence begin with a fair and robust unifying state. If summarizing Jesus Christ and the Prophet Mohammad's wills, they would say: truth is the sanctum sanctorum, and no greater truth exists than resisting the Zionist terrorism, an enemy of both the homeland and humanity."
