On Monday, the Interfax news agency reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air forces targeted a militant base northeast of Palmyra in Syria, killing up to 200 militants. Additionally, Russian aircraft also destroyed munitions, vehicles, and components used in the manufacture of explosives.
