The Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at the Jeddah port thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of Captagon pills, amounting to over 2,312,000 pills. The drugs were found hidden inside a refrigerated shipment arriving via the Jeddah Islamic Port. The authority announced on its Twitter account on Sunday that the quantity of Captagon seized totaled 2,312,000 pills. It clarified that the Captagon shipment was concealed within a refrigerated truck coming through the Jeddah port.
