Brazilian media reported that former Brazilian national team star Ronaldinho Gaúcho received his second dose of the COVID vaccine in Dubai. It noted that he took the opportunity to be in "the city of gold" to protect himself from the pandemic that has affected millions worldwide. The Brazilian newspaper "Esporte" stated that Ronaldinho completed the required doses of the COVID vaccine, receiving the second dose last Wednesday in Dubai, having previously received the first dose on May 19. The report mentioned that the nurse who vaccinated him with the second dose received a lovely gift from the Brazilian star, a signed Brazil national team jersey.

It also highlighted that the former player of Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and AC Milan is enjoying living in the UAE after obtaining a golden residency, which lasts for 10 years, from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, awarded to investors, business people, and specialized influential talents in society to facilitate business activities in the region. It is worth mentioning that Ronaldinho announced that he had contracted the COVID-19 virus on October 25 last year but later recovered from the illness. Additionally, the Brazilian star experienced a significant shock with the death of his mother, Dona Miguelina, who was 71 years old, on February 21 of this year, after she contracted the virus in December 2020 and was subsequently admitted to intensive care.
