Humanitarian Initiative: King Salman and Crown Prince Register for Organ Donation Program

In a humanitarian gesture, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have registered in the organ donation program operated by the Saudi Center for Organ Donation. This initiative reflects the significant care provided by the King and Crown Prince to patients with end-stage organ failure and serves as encouragement for all citizens and residents to register in the organ donation program, which is crucial in offering hope to patients whose lives depend on receiving a new organ, in line with the Quranic verse (And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely), as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). King Salman had previously established the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, formerly the National Kidney Center, in recognition of the suffering of kidney failure patients and the increasing number of cases, along with the importance of expanding organ donation to include all end-stage organ failure patients and to open the door of hope for those on waiting lists, whose recovery depends on receiving a new organ (heart, liver, kidney, lung, etc.).
