Turkish newspaper "Zaman" reported today that UAE authorities have closed the branch of famous Turkish chef Burak Ozdimer's restaurant in Dubai for "violating COVID-19 safety protocols."
The newspaper indicated that the restaurant, known as “CZN Burak,” was shut down for not complying with the coronavirus preventive measures implemented in the Emirate of Dubai. It is worth noting that Burak opened the restaurant in December last year with the attendance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who visited the restaurant on its opening day. Prior to the opening, the Burj Khalifa was illuminated with an image of Chef Burak to celebrate the occasion, where the chef shared a picture of himself in front of the tower, commenting, "Dubai welcomed me very beautifully, thank you."
