Barcelona Ready to Sell Griezmann for Their Star

Barcelona seems ready to sell their French star, Antoine Griezmann, during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a press report. Griezmann joined the Catalan team in the summer of 2019 from Atletico Madrid after paying the buyout clause in his contract (120 million euros). According to the Italian website "Calcio Mercato," Barcelona will consider offers made for the Frenchman, and if a suitable offer is received, they will open the door for his departure. The site added that Barca is in urgent need of funds during this period to settle their debts, which exceed one billion euros, in addition to their desire to renew contracts for their stars, Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembélé. It is worth noting that Griezmann was on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain when Barcelona was interested in re-signing Neymar last summer.
