Egyptian actress Samia El Khashab has sparked widespread controversy on social media after calling for a "license and exam" to have children. In a tweet on her Instagram account, Samia suggested that couples should obtain a license for parenthood after undergoing an examination before taking this step.
The Egyptian artist stated, "I am demanding a license and an exam for having children, meaning before couples decide to have kids, they should go get this license and undergo a test to see if they are qualified to raise children or not. Are they mentally stable? Will they raise good members of society?"
She added in her tweet, "Those who fail the exam should undergo therapy and take a training course until they succeed so that they do not mistreat the children with them."
