Al-Mayadeen TV reported that the Iranian Foreign Ministry said they would stop implementing the Additional Protocol after the specified deadline (February 21) if the other parties did not fulfill their commitments. It clarified that halting work on the Additional Protocol in the nuclear agreement does not mean ceasing cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. The ministry reiterated Iran's commitment to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and emphasized that their policy on nuclear weapons has not changed. In its statement, the Foreign Ministry called on Washington to reverse the policy of the previous administration, stressing, "Our response will be appropriate to any change in America's policy."
In another context, Al Jazeera reported that Iran and Russia are conducting joint naval exercises tomorrow in the northern Indian Ocean, aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region and cooperation between Russia and Iran. The exercises will involve Russian forces and naval forces from both the Iranian military and the Revolutionary Guard.
