The Eastern Province police in Saudi Arabia arrested a "resident" who specialized in performing cosmetic procedures on camels to increase their value. Tools and products used for these operations were seized from him, and legal procedures have been initiated against him.
In detail, the spokesperson for the Eastern Province police, Major Mohammed Al-Shuhri, stated that in collaboration with the Camel Club and following security monitoring of violations, investigation measures from the Al-Ahsa police, in coordination with the Riyadh police, led to identifying a visiting foreigner of Egyptian nationality in his forties. He had been conducting cosmetic procedures on camels to alter their physical characteristics for the purpose of increasing their sale value.
Major Al-Shuhri explained, "Some tools and products used in such procedures were also seized, and initial legal actions were taken against him, with his case referred to the relevant authorities."
