The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Lebanese parties today, Thursday, to abandon internal conflicts and fighting. Al-Sadr stated in a tweet: "To my brothers in Amal and Hezbollah, you love the homeland, and you are capable of preserving civil peace, for Lebanon is dearer than all interests." He added: "All Lebanese sects are our brothers and your brothers, so everyone should leave disagreements and internal fighting, as this weakens the national front and strengthens colonialism, which is lurking and wishes harm upon you. You must exercise self-restraint and embody love for the homeland to gain the pleasure of the Lord of the worlds."
