A new announcement from the American company "Google" regarding its latest phone, the "Pixel 6," reveals a 5-year promise that the company had previously stated in various media. Google is ahead of its global event set for October 19 to unveil the "Pixel 6" phones by committing to offer 5 years of support for the new "Android" system that will power these devices, according to the specialized technology site "Engadget."
With this promise, Google surpasses its competitor Samsung, which provides around 4 years of security updates for its Android system. This way, owners of the "Pixel 6" will be able to enjoy security updates on their phones until around 2026. Leaks also reveal that Google is equipping the "Pixel 6" phones with a "Face Unblur" feature, which maintains the focus of the camera and will assist the ultra-wide front camera in capturing group selfies.
The American company has equipped the "Pixel 6" with a camera sensor of approximately 50 megapixels and a telephoto camera of 48 megapixels. Google also promises "Pixel 6" users a powerful battery that can last over 24 hours with intensive use. The "Pixel 6" is expected to feature a 6.4-inch screen, while the "Pixel 6 Pro" will have a 6.7-inch screen, both resistant to dust, dirt, and water.
