Yasser Alawy, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, announced in a statement the arrival of a new shipment of the drug "Remdesivir," used to treat advanced cases of COVID-19, as a donation from the Egyptian Ministry of Health to the Lebanese government.
Alawy clarified that "this shipment, arriving at Rafic Hariri International Airport for the third consecutive week, is part of the ongoing bridge of Egyptian assistance since the Beirut port explosion, affirming Egypt's steadfast commitment to stand by its brotherly Lebanon during these critical times." On Thursday, January 38, a military aircraft from the Arab Republic of Egypt landed in Beirut to deliver a donation from the Arab League to the Lebanese government, noting that this shipment was prepared based on needs lists provided by the Lebanese side.
