On Tuesday, social media users in Saudi Arabia shared a video documenting the moment a lion was spotted roaming the streets of Khobar in the Eastern Province of the kingdom. The National Center for Wildlife Development in Saudi Arabia reported that they received a notification about a free lion in Khobar, confirming that they managed to control the situation and successfully captured the animal.
In a tweet from their official account on the social media platform "Twitter," they stated that the lion was handled, sedated, and transported to a rescue center under the care of specialists and veterinary supervision. The center clarified that the lion was subdued without any harm to the residents or the animal.
