Saudi King Issues Several Royal Orders

The Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued royal orders on Friday evening that included the dismissal of several ministers and officials and the appointment of others. A royal decree was issued to relieve Tawfiq bin Fawzan bin Mohammed Al-Rabea from his position as Minister of Health, appointing Fahd bin Abdulrahman bin Dahis Al-Jalajel as the new Minister of Health. Additionally, a royal order appointed Al-Rabea as Minister of Hajj and Umrah.

The royal orders also promoted Lieutenant General Mutlaq bin Salem bin Mutlaq Al-Azima to the rank of General and appointed him as commander of the Joint Forces. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Arifi was relieved from his position as Assistant Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and appointed as a consultant in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers with an outstanding rank. Furthermore, a royal order was issued to establish an authority to develop Yanbu, Umluj, Al-Wajh, and Duba.
