According to a SANA correspondent, the incident involved "a terrorist explosion with two explosive devices during the passage of a military overnight bus at President Bridge in Damascus." The agency added that "the terrorist explosion led to a number of martyrs and wounded."
Reuters reported, citing official Syrian media, that 13 people were killed and 3 were injured in the blast targeting the military bus. The agency's correspondent noted that engineering units managed to dismantle a third explosive device that had been planted at the site of the explosion targeting the bus.
