The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has tested positive for COVID-19. The ministry stated that the results of tests for Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian confirmed his infection with the coronavirus. Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh told official media late on Monday: "His general health condition is good, and he continues to carry out his work from quarantine," adding that "the minister's travel schedule has changed." Earlier on Monday, the ministry had mentioned that the minister would travel to India at the end of November to attend a meeting of the Joint Iranian-Indian Economic Committee. The spokesman did not provide further details on whether the minister would be able to travel to New Delhi this month, according to Reuters.
