Kuwait Strongly Condemns Attempted Assassination of Iraqi Prime Minister

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the heinous assassination attempt targeted at the Prime Minister of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi. The ministry stated in a statement today, Sunday, that this criminal attempt not only aims at Al-Kadhimi but also at the unity and achievements that Iraq and its brotherly people have attained on all fronts. The ministry affirmed its conviction in the awareness of the brothers in Iraq to thwart the opportunity for those who wish ill for their country and unity. The ministry emphasized Kuwait's support for Iraq and its solidarity and endorsement of all measures taken to maintain its security, stability, and sovereignty.
