His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, stated that he discussed with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan ways to enhance the close brotherly relations between their two peoples in various fields of mutual cooperation. This was mentioned in a tweet from the Emir of Qatar on his official Twitter account, where he expressed: "I was pleased to meet my brother His Majesty the King @KingAbdullahII and the accompanying delegation in Qatar, where we discussed ways to enhance the close brotherly relations between our two peoples in various fields of mutual cooperation, as well as recent developments in the region and ways to support security and stability, especially regarding the situation in Palestine."
On Tuesday evening, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held an official meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II. At the beginning of the session, the Emir welcomed the King and his accompanying delegation, wishing him an enjoyable stay and hoping for further development of the brotherly relations between the two countries in all fields.
For his part, His Majesty the King expressed his gratitude to the Emir for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, looking forward to strengthening the brotherly ties and cooperative relations to achieve mutual aspirations for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the ways to enhance and develop them, especially in political, economic, investment, developmental, and cultural fields.
