Kuwait Suspends All Types of Visas for Lebanese Nationals

According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas, citing security sources, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has suspended the issuance of all types of visas for members of the Lebanese community until further notice, due to the recent diplomatic crisis between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Lebanon. The sources stated that Lebanese individuals who already have residency in the country are not affected by the decision and have the right to return. They noted that the decision includes the suspension of all types of visit visas, whether family, tourist, commercial, or governmental, as well as the suspension of family reunification visas and work entry permits.
