The Excessive Pursuit of Perfection Exposes You to Burnout

The Excessive Pursuit of Perfection Exposes You to Burnout

The magazine "Work & Health" reported that burnout attacks employees who constantly strive for perfection in their work, making them frequent victims of work overload, time pressure, and nervous stress. The German magazine explained that the warning signs of burnout include poor concentration, irritability, aggressiveness, tension, anxiety, sleep disturbances, complete physical and mental exhaustion, decreased commitment, and an increase in mistakes.

Burnout can be addressed by creating a balance between work and personal life, which can be achieved by setting boundaries between work and private life, engaging in sports and hobbies, and spending time with family and friends.

It is also important to practice relaxation techniques such as yoga and meditation. In severe cases, seeking psychological treatment such as behavior therapy may also be necessary to avoid falling into the clutches of depression.
