Producer Essam Imam, the brother of the legendary actor Adel Imam, stated on the program "Happening in Egypt," hosted by journalist Sherif Amer on MBC Egypt, that the great artist Adel Imam is fine and in good health. He is living a normal life, enjoying playing with his grandchildren, and spending time reading and watching shows. Essam Imam added that there have been many exaggerations lately concerning rumors about the leader retiring from art, that his health is critical, and that he has left Cairo to stay alone in a room by the coast. He confirmed that all these reports are baseless. Essam also revealed that Adel Imam is currently studying a new film in which he will participate alongside his son Mohamed Imam, directed by Rami Imam.
