A car that has been parked by its owner for 47 years on a street in Italy has become a tourist attraction where visitors come to take memorable photos. Despite the many unique tourist spots in Italy, this car has become a must-see for guests in the country, according to the British newspaper "The Mirror."
Italian Angelo Frigoletti, 94, parked his 1962 Lancia Flavia outside a newsstand that he operated with his wife, Bertilla Modulo, in the town of Conegliano, Italy, in 1974. After the couple retired, they left their car there, and it has remained in the same spot ever since, becoming a famous landmark in the area visited by tourists after being abandoned for 47 years.
As this abandoned car turned into a tourist star, local authorities decided to move the car to restore it and then return it to its place, making it a part of the city's landmarks. Angelo told the newspaper "Gazzettino," "I ran a newsstand under the house with my wife Bertilla, who is ten years younger than me, for 40 years. When I opened this store, I was happy to park my car in front of the shop because I used to carry newspapers in its trunk and then unload them inside the store."
When the couple retired, they left the car in front of the shop, and it became part of the city’s features. Tourists and locals began taking selfies with the old car, and its photos spread rapidly on social media.
