Saudi Arabia Condemns the Terrorist Blast in Aden

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the terrorist explosion that targeted the entrance of Aden International Airport, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens. In a statement on Saturday, the ministry emphasized that this terrorist act, driven by malevolent forces, is not only directed against the legitimate Yemeni government but also against the entire Yemeni people, who aspire for security, peace, stability, and prosperity, while dark forces stand in the way of achieving their aspirations. Furthermore, the ministry expressed the Kingdom's solidarity and support for Yemen and Yemenis, as it has since day one, urging all parties to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement to unify efforts, confront terrorism, achieve security and stability, and restore their state.

It is noted that an explosion occurred on Saturday near the entrance of the international airport in Aden, southern Yemen, where a car bomb detonated at the outer entrance targeting a security checkpoint near a hotel. A senior government security official informed AFP that 12 people had been killed in the blast, all of whom were civilians, adding that there were injured individuals, some of whom are in "critical" condition.
