German nutrition expert Alina Emmanuel warned against the dietary practice known as "Dry Fasting," citing its health risks. The expert explained that "Dry Fasting" involves complete abstention from both liquids and solid foods for a certain period, aimed at weight loss and detoxification.
**Serious Health Issues**
She added that the lack of water poses a health problem, as a 2% loss of body weight due to dehydration can lead to dehydration, heart rhythm disturbances, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, headaches, digestive problems, and reduced physical ability.
**Balanced Diet**
To avoid these risks, a healthy and balanced diet should be followed, along with drinking at least 1.5 liters of water daily and increasing the intake of water-rich foods like watermelon and cucumber.
