Global Village, one of the largest cultural parks in the world and the region's top family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, has announced the launch of this year's holiday celebrations. A giant Christmas tree, adorned with lights and sparkling ornaments, stands proudly in the middle of Global Village, alongside printed images from various landmarks around the world. This festive season filled with joy and enjoyable experiences will run until January 8, 2022, featuring a range of unique entertainment activities suitable for all family members.
Last weekend, the leading entertainment destination welcomed "Santa," who made a special celebratory entrance by parachuting from a plane to light up the Christmas tree and kick off a fireworks display. Snow fell on the celebration promenade while the song "Let It Snow" played throughout the park, contributing to an atmosphere of joy and happiness among the guests. Additionally, the famous teddy bear figures scattered across Global Village donned Santa hats to add a festive touch to the venue. Jackie Al-Nabi, the Executive Director of Marketing and Events at Global Village, stated: "We celebrate the diverse cultures and traditions from around the world, so we are keen for guests to enjoy the unique atmosphere this season until January 8. We will offer our guests a wide variety of special activities and events."
