An incident occurred this evening, Wednesday, between UNIFIL forces operating in southern Lebanon and the residents of the town of Shakra. According to Russia Today, a patrol from UNIFIL was vandalized by some young men from Shakra after international forces allegedly photographed locations within the town, as claimed by the locals. The report also noted that the Lebanese army intervened to escort the UNIFIL patrol out of the town.
