Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool FC player, is set to create a new history in the European player transfer market. Particularly, some English reports claim that the newly revamped Newcastle management has offered Salah an astronomical salary, which would be the highest in football history, amounting to £700,000 a week.
The renewal of Salah's contract with Liverpool is taking a different path, according to the website of Sport 10. It reported that Leonardo, the sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain, is very interested in Salah and wants to sign him permanently during the upcoming summer transfer window. PSG is also prepared to meet the personal salary demands that Salah is seeking from Liverpool.
French newspaper Le Sport 10 stated that Leonardo wishes to finalize Salah's signing during the next summer transfer window. The newspaper added that Liverpool is willing to sell the scoring winger if the management fails to reach a friendly agreement with the Egyptian star regarding the financial terms for renewing his contract and continuing at Anfield.
