A startup company in Japan has managed to turn what was once a dream of the future in the transportation sector into a present reality. On Tuesday in Tokyo, they showcased a "bicycle" that can fly at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour for 40 minutes, sufficient to take anyone to their desired location within or outside cities, reminiscent of scenes from science fiction movies. The bike, weighing 300 kg and priced at $682,000, is designed for a single rider only, according to a statement from Fuji. They also mentioned that the aircraft, named Xturismo and available for purchase now, primarily relies on a traditional internal combustion engine, along with four battery-operated motors, and two main rotors that keep it aloft. This is demonstrated in a video shared by "Al Arabiya," where the bicycle's test flight has turned into news on international media and has spread on social media.

It is known that the combustion engine and the operation of the main rotors to keep the aircraft elevated are technologies referred to as A.L.I. Technologies, used to control the altitude of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), allowing the bicycle to glide smoothly through layers of air. Consequently, the company's CEO Daisuke Katano expressed optimism during the unveiling of the flying bicycle, indicating the birth of a new lifestyle. He told Reuters, "The options until now were to move on the ground or extensively in the sky, so we hope to offer a new way of movement and transportation," as he put it.
