Four Dead and Three Injured in Forest Fires in Algeria

Algeria's news agency reported that four people died and three were injured on Monday evening in forest fires in mountainous areas east of Algiers. The agency stated that firefighting teams and helicopters are still trying to contain several fires that threaten residents in the Tizi Ouzou province, which is about 100 kilometers from the capital. It added that some fires broke out near homes, forcing residents to flee.
