Sky News Arabia reported that the German ship "Amoinitas," which is tasked with removing hazardous chemicals from Beirut Port, arrived at the port earlier today, Monday. The German ship is waiting for the necessary procedures from the Ministries of Environment and Transport to load the containers, which will have the hazardous materials sorted by a German company on Dock 16 of Beirut Port, according to our correspondent. A specialized German company has worked in recent months to process tons of hazardous acidic materials at Beirut Port in preparation for shipping and disposal in Germany. There are 52 large containers on "Dock 16" containing various chemicals, all of which have different compositions, but are flammable and highly reactive. These materials were discovered by the specialized unit of the Lebanese army, which conducted a thorough survey of the port following the explosion.
