The Egyptian artist, Ahmed Abdel Hay, has passed away during a delicate heart surgery on Saturday morning at Nasser Institute. His body has been laid to rest in the family cemetery in the sixth of October city. Several stars of the art scene in Egypt mourned the young artist, expressing their sorrow and shock at his sudden death, especially as he was at the beginning of his artistic career, leaving many in shock.
Ahmed Abdel Hay, who began his artistic journey in the late 1990s, participated in nearly 49 artistic works, with a predominance of comedic roles despite their limited screen time. His last appearance was in the series "Wadi Al-Jinn – Al-Kahf," while his notable works include the series "Omar and Diaa," "Ruba Rumi," "Harbana Minha," and "Afraha Al-Quba."
The late artist was undergoing delicate heart surgery, and some of his colleagues requested the presence of 10 blood donors in hopes of a successful surgery. However, he passed away during the procedure. According to the confirmed information from the Actors' Syndicate, the funeral service for the late artist will take place next Tuesday evening, with many artists keen to extend their condolences to his wife, actress Salwa Azab.
