Paris Saint-Germain has made an enticing offer to sign Barcelona captain, Argentine Lionel Messi, during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported statements from renowned Brazilian journalist Marcelo Bechler on "TNT Sports Brazil," where he stated that PSG has offered Messi a two-year fixed contract, with an additional optional third year.
He clarified that "the financial offer from Paris Saint-Germain is unmatched and cannot be rivaled." The journalist emphasized that Barcelona has not made any offer to Messi for a contract renewal so far.
Bechler was the journalist who previously revealed Neymar's departure from Barcelona to PSG in 2017, as well as announcing that Messi had made a formal request to terminate his contract with Barcelona last summer. Messi's contract with Barcelona ends next summer, and the "little magician" has not yet disclosed his position regarding staying or leaving "Barça."
