Twitter Launches New Feature: "The Flock"

Twitter Launches New Feature:

Reports have revealed that the microblogging site "Twitter" is preparing to launch a new feature that allows users to share tweets with a specific group of individuals, referred to as "the flock."

Twitter first hinted at this feature last July, calling it "trusted friends" at the time, but it has been developing since then. Smartphone developer Alessandro Paluzzi leaked details about the "flock" feature, indicating that users can add up to 150 members to view their private tweets, and these selected users can respond to and interact with the tweets.

If a user wishes to remove someone from their flock, that individual will not receive a notification about their removal. Tatiana Britt, a spokesperson for Twitter, stated that the platform is always working on new ways to help people engage in healthy conversations and is currently exploring methods to allow people to share more privately.

It is noteworthy that in September, Twitter launched a similar feature to "the flock," allowing users to send tweets to individuals with shared interests rather than all their followers.
