In Lebanon... The Gas Crisis Has Not Spared Even the Groom

A photo has spread on social media showing a bride and groom whose car ran out of gasoline on their wedding day. The image depicts the groom filling the car with gasoline using a plastic gallon from the containers sold by some along the roads at black market prices. Reports indicate that the photo was taken in one of the towns in Akkar, northern Lebanon. It is noteworthy that Lebanon is experiencing a severe economic crisis, leading to a fuel shortage, the closure of most stations in the country, and the sale of gasoline and diesel in the black market at inflated prices.
