The premium audio company Bowers and Wilkins has announced the launch of its first wireless headphones. The completely new PI7 earbuds feature impressive sound with noise cancellation that adapts to the user's environment. The stylish, compact case can connect to an external audio source, such as an in-flight entertainment system, via a USB cable and then wirelessly transmit the sound from this source to the earbuds—something Apple AirPods cannot do yet.
Other features of the PI7 include adaptive wireless transmission, which offers high-resolution audio streaming from compatible services like Qobuz, and a battery life of 4 hours. The earbuds are fully compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa.
As with other Bowers and Wilkins products, the headphones will not be cheap; when released later this year, they will cost around $436, which is about $125 more than the AirPods Pro, according to the British Express.
