Title: Hassan Shakoush Comments on Hany Shaker's Decision to Ban Him from Singing

The Egyptian popular singer Hassan Shakoush confirmed his respect for the decision of the Syndicate of Musical Professions led by Hany Shaker, in response to his suspension and the permanent revocation of his singing license. During a phone interview with journalist Amr Adib, Shakoush stated, "Until the last moment, I respect the syndicate's decision. I haven't seen the decision myself; it's the people who told me. This job is my livelihood. Did he say he wants Hassan Shakoush to lose his license? Mr. Hany Shaker can say what he wants."

He continued, "Now I can only work outside Egypt. This is my first mistake. I tried to contact several people in the syndicate to resolve the issue... I cannot work outside Egypt and not be able to work in my own country."

Shakoush added, "Right now I am recording songs to release soon, but I don't feel motivated. I have reconciled with Reda; he is my brother, and there are no problems."

Hany Shaker commented yesterday on the possibility of Hassan Shakoush returning to sing after his suspension due to a dispute with Reda Al-Bahrawi about two months ago, stating, "What Shakoush did is serious because he performed songs with obscene lyrics. The art does not need this strange type of singing."

He added during his appearance on the program "ET Bil Arabi," "The mistake he committed—I and the entire council have revoked his license completely, without return. Hassan Shakoush is not needed."

He further stated, "I perform an obscene song on stage and insult an important category in Arabic music, our drummers who are our children and brothers. The example exists; I know, but to take it to the stage and intend to insult is unacceptable."

It is noteworthy that the Syndicate of Musical Professions issued a decision against festival singer Hassan Shakoush, canceling his singing license indefinitely.
