Kuwait Will Not Renew Residency for Suspected Hezbollah Members

A Kuwaiti security source revealed that individuals suspected of belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah will not have their residencies renewed and will be required to leave the country with their families as soon as their residencies expire. The Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Qabas" reported on Wednesday that the State Security apparatus is working around the clock, and whenever investigations reveal the presence of individuals affiliated with Hezbollah or its supporters within the country, they will be deported to their home countries.

The source reiterated that the State Security apparatus will not allow any resident linked to parties classified as terrorist organizations to remain in the country, stating that "explicit and clear instructions have been issued not to be lenient on this matter and not to respond to any pressures or mediations whatsoever, as the security of Kuwait is a red line."
