Whish Money has signed a collaborative agreement with the Port of Beirut to introduce a specialized digital payment service via the Whish app. This initiative aims to streamline the payment of dues and fees issued by the Port of Beirut.
The signing ceremony took place at the Port of Beirut and was attended by the Chairman and General Manager of the Port of Beirut, Mr. Marwan Al-Nafi, and Whish Money's Partner and Board Member, Mr. Chahwan Ghazal Mouawad.
Under this agreement, suppliers, shipping companies, and port clients will be able to make immediate payments through a dedicated Beirut Port icon within the Whish app, or via Whish Money branches in Lebanon, with minimal fees.
This new solution allows users to enter the invoice number, complete payments easily, and receive an immediate receipt in PDF format, with the option to print the receipt when paying at Whish Money branches.
This partnership reflects Whish Money's commitment to providing digital financial solutions that simplify processes, enhance efficiency, and offer more convenient payment channels for institutions and companies, supporting the digital transformation within Lebanon's vital sectors.
