His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, received President Michel Aoun of the Lebanese Republic and his accompanying delegation at the Amiri Diwan this morning. During the meeting, the developments in Lebanon were discussed, where His Excellency the President briefed the Emir on the latest updates, expressing his sincere gratitude to His Highness for Qatar's support for Lebanon and its ongoing solidarity with the Lebanese people.
His Highness the Emir and His Excellency the Lebanese President also reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them across various fields, in addition to discussing key developments of mutual interest at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was attended by a number of esteemed ministers, along with members of the official delegation accompanying His Excellency the President from the Lebanese side.
