The global car manufacturer Audi has planned to reach sales of one million cars in China by 2023.
According to Werner Eichhorn, head of Audi in China, the company's sales last year reached 726,000 cars in the Chinese market. At the same time, Stephan Wöllenstein, head of Volkswagen, stated that Volkswagen lost sales of tens of thousands of cars in China due to a shortage of global chip supplies necessary for production, which affected its output in January.
