The Oman national team has scheduled a meeting in the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup football tournament with its Tunisian counterpart, following their victory over Bahrain (3-0) in the match held today, Monday.
The three goals for the Omani team were scored by Almandhar Rabea Al-Alawi, Arshad Al-Alawi, and Khalid Khalifa Al-Hajri in the minutes (41, 50, 59) respectively, at the Ahmad bin Ali International Stadium in the city of Al Rayyan, Qatar.
The Sultanate of Oman finished second in Group A with four points and advanced to the quarter-finals alongside group leader Qatar. Meanwhile, the Bahrain national team ranked fourth and last in the group standings, exiting the tournament early, along with Iraq, which also lost by the same score of three goals to none against Qatar, finishing third with two points.
Oman will meet the Tunisian national team, the leader of Group B, in the quarter-finals of the 2021 Arab Cup, while Qatar will face the UAE national team, the runner-up of Group B.
