Police announced that a former student of a Russian Orthodox school "detonated" himself on Monday at the school, resulting in injuries to himself as well as at least one other person, a 15-year-old. The Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Moscow region stated, "An 18-year-old former student entered this school and detonated himself. Initial information indicates that he was injured along with a 15-year-old teenager," clarifying that the attack occurred at an Orthodox school near the Viden'sky Vladychny Monastery in the city of Serpukhov.
